The women’s national team resumes preparations in Sidi Moussa before the match with Cameroon – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The women’s national football team has resumed its preparations at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa, in preparation for facing the Cameroon national team on Tuesday in Douala (15:30), in the second and final round of qualification for the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations, according to what the Algerian Football Federation reported on its official website.

The players conducted an evening training session characterized by seriousness and enthusiasm, during which the technical staff focused on recovering and correcting the shortcomings that appeared in the first leg.

The session witnessed the absence of Lina Bousaha and Doria Melin due to fatigue, as the medical staff preferred to give them a temporary rest, while the rest of the players participated normally.

In an environmental initiative, the female team players and the technical staff participated in a national afforestation campaign inside the technical center in Sidi Moussa, by planting a number of trees, in a step that expresses the commitment of the national elements to contribute to protecting the environment.

The women’s national team won the first leg in Oran with a score of (2-1), bringing it close to qualifying for the continental tournament scheduled between March 17 and April 3, 2026.
