The President of the Palestinian Writers Union: Cultural Resistance and the narration of the land

The head of the Palestinian Writers Union, Dr. Abu Al -Naja, affirmed that the Zionist entity was not satisfied with occupying the land, but rather sought to occupy history as well, through the imposition of a fake narrative that claims the historical Jews’ association with Palestine as a “promised land”. However, this novel, according to it, collapses in front of scientific and archaeological facts, indicating that the excavations conducted by the Zionist entity itself, whether in Jerusalem or Sinai, failed to find any archaeological evidence confirming the existence of an ancient Jewish kingdom or civilization in those areas.
More than that – the guest of Memayat adds – that some recent studies, but even signs mentioned in the Torah and Talmud, are likely that the “land of the host” area referred to in these texts does not occur in Palestine, but rather in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, specifically in Yemen. This scientific data turns the Zionist novel upside down, and reveals the falsehood of allegations that the entity tries to impose as historical Muslims.
In a related context, Dr. Hussein Abu Al -Naja stressed when hosting the Algerian radio waves that “cultural resistance” is not an intellectual luxury, but rather a national and civilizational duty. The Palestinian and Arab intellectual is required today, more than ever, to arm with knowledge and scientific sources to dismantle the institutions founded for the Zionist project, on top of which is the legend of “a people without land for a land without a people.”
At the end of the dialogue, he called for the necessity of building a scientific cultural discourse, which is not satisfied with slogans, but rather concerned with documentation, analysis, and exposing counterfeiting, stressing that the “battle of consciousness” is decisive, and that intellectual and literary elites bear a great responsibility in this context, despite their limited options.
