The Ministry of Education reveals the timing of studies in the month of Ramadan – New Algeria

On Monday evening, the Ministry of National Education revealed the timing schedule for the month of Ramadan 1447 AH, based on a telegram from the General Directorate of Public Service and Administrative Reform..

The Ministry explained that working hours in educational institutions during the holy month will be from 8:30 am to 15:00 pm, in all regions of the country.

For primary schools that operate on a single-shift system, the morning period will be reduced by 45 minutes, and the evening period will be reduced by half an hour. Between these two periods, students benefit from a break of one hour and 15 minutes.

As for primary schools that operate on a double shift system, the morning period of 2 hours and 30 minutes is reduced to one hour and 45 minutes. The two-hour evening period will be reduced to one hour and thirty minutes.

On Tuesday, the period of four and a half hours will be reduced to three hours and 15 minutes. On Thursdays for the first and second years of primary school, both the first period and the second period are reduced by half an hour.

For the middle education, general and technical secondary education levels, the duration of the one-hour educational session will be reduced by 15 minutes. The school day is organized into two periods, each containing four sessions, with a 30-minute break allocated between the morning and evening periods.
