Some statistics indicate that Algerian students are the third largest category for foreign students studying in France, where they numbered up to more than 34 thousand university students during the academic year 2023 – 2024.
The data issued by the European Union, Eurostat, confirmed that more than 48 thousand Algerians obtained a new residence card during the past year 2024 at the level of the blocs referred to for multiple reasons, including the study within European universities.
