Hearts are blind, not eyes .. The European Commission for Islamic Centers refuses to whiten the occupation with the “moderation” cloak.

The European Commission for Islamic Centers expressed its concern and very sorry.

In a media statement to the European Commission for the Islamic Centers signed by Sheikh Muhajiri Zian, the head of the commission: with great anxiety and very sorry, we followed the photos and statements issued by a delegation from the adjective of “imams”, who went to the occupied Zionist entity, and met its president, on an organized propaganda visit aimed at whitening the occupation’s face and presenting it to the world as a symbol of humanity and democracy!

We strongly condemn this provocative step that offends human memory, to the free conscience, and to the suffering of millions of the Palestinian people, who were deprived of their basic rights, were displaced from their land, and thousands of them – including women, children and elders – were imprisoned – in circumstances that are not in any way of justice or human dignity.

What these people did, led by Hassan Shalgoumi, only expresses themselves, and does not have any connection to the collective conscience of Muslims in Europe, nor to the issues of justice and freedom that the wise people defend from all religions.

Any conscience can see in the occupied entity an example of democracy, while it is registered with the use of forbidden bombs, the demolition of hospitals, schools, mosques and churches on the heads of its people, and the commission of documented crimes against innocent civilians?!

We are in the European Commission for the Islamic Centers, as we affirm that these individual behaviors do not represent us and do not represent Muslims in Europe, we recall that it is the duty of religious leaders to be a true voice and support for justice, not tools for promotion and normalization of an injustice and occupation system.

We call on all Islamic institutions and moderate leaders in Europe to explicitly disavow these provocative visits, and adhere to moral and humanitarian situations rooted in the values of justice, mercy and human rights.
