Mohsen Rezaei, a member of the Iranian Expediency Discernment Council, confirmed on Saturday that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened as long as American forces remain in the Gulf states, considering the American presence as the main reason for insecurity over fifty years.
Rezaei explained that ending tensions and war is linked to “compensating for all losses and ensuring future security,” stressing that this is not possible without the withdrawal of American forces from the region.
