08 cases of gas poisoning recorded this morning – New Algeria

This morning, the Civil Protection Services intervened in two incidents of carbon monoxide poisoning, as a result of which eight cases were treated. They also announced in their toll for the last 24 hours that two deaths from gas suffocation were recorded yesterday.
In separate statements, the Civil Protection Services revealed that a poisoning incident had been recorded in the state of Algiers at 9:40 am, causing two children, aged 8 and 10 years, to be poisoned by carbon monoxide gas emanating from the heater, in the place called Ben Dada Farm, in the municipality of Staoueli. They were treated on the spot and transferred to the local hospital.
It intervened in the state of Al-Baidh to treat 6 cases from one family, aged between 10 and 45 years. They were suffocated by gas leaking from a heater pipe. They were treated and taken to the local hospital.
As for the outcome of civil protection interventions during the last 24 hours, it was revealed that five interventions were recorded in suffocation incidents, as a result of which 8 people were treated and two deaths were recorded.
