The clearest statement For the ministryToday, Tuesday, the Minister determined during this meeting the sector’s program for the new phase, which “is based on a structural transformation based on modernization, inclusion and digital sovereignty and includes accelerating the dissemination of ultra-high streaming, expanding the dissemination of fiber optic technology and covering the national territory by a total percentage, at the beginning of the year 2027, modernizing the infrastructure and enhancing modern technologies.”
The work plan – adds the same source – is based on “modernizing postal and financial services by strengthening the postal network with automated dispensers in areas with high population density, improving the network’s performance to ensure expanding access to services and raising the quality of service, as well as enhancing financial inclusion through diversifying products and electronic payment methods.”
During this meeting, Zarrouqi highlighted “the achievements achieved in the sector in 2025 and the progress recorded in disseminating fiber optic technology to the home, the official launch of fifth generation technology and improving coverage in areas with low population density, in addition to strengthening the infrastructure for satellite communications and international connectivity through submarine cable projects.”
In the same context, the Minister touched on “the achievements achieved in the sector, especially improving financial postal services, disseminating electronic payment methods, enhancing financial inclusion, and modernizing courier activity in a way that supports e-commerce and protects the rights of customers.”
