After being expelled by the French club South, the Algerian player played for the “Côte Bleue” club, active in the French amateur league, before joining the Martigues club in 2017. A year later, he contracted with the Toulon club, then played for the Foresta Suceava club, active in the Grievances League in Romania.
In his second adventure with the Martigues club, Yannis Zouaoui participated in 105 matches, during which he scored 8 goals and provided 9 assists.
Le Havre signed him in the summer of 2024, and he played 39 matches with him in various competitions, during which he provided 3 assists.
