The Meteorological Department reported on the weather condition that heavy thunderstorms would fall during the day, Saturday, in several states of the country.
A special meteorological bulletin warned of continued heavy thunderstorm rain falling locally, with amounts reaching 30 mm. Until 15:00 noon on Saturday.
The states concerned with this bulletin are: Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Medea, and Ain Defla.
A second special bulletin also reported that heavy thunderstorm rains continuing to fall locally, with amounts exceeding 50 mm, until 06:00. From tomorrow morning, Sunday, on the states of Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Guelma and Souk Ahras.
Mountains with a height of more than 1,200 meters, with a thickness of up to 10 cm, will witness heavy snowfall starting at 09:00 this morning, Saturday, until 03:00 am, tomorrow, Sunday.
The states concerned are: Blida, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Setif and Bordj Bou Arreridj.
