Civil Protection explained, in a statement, that its agents intervened in El Bayadh Province, specifically in the municipality of El Beidh Sidi Sheikh, where two people stuck in the mud on the Bousmegoun road were removed, along with three people stuck in a field due to the rise in the valley’s water levels.
In Al-Mughir, rainwater was absorbed in front of the Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque and the Al-Saada neighborhood.
As for El Oued Province, protection agents absorbed rainwater from inside a house in the Al-Anam neighborhood and absorbed rainwater from the street in the Al-Rimal neighborhood and Al-Nour neighborhood near Ikmaliyah Ahmed Tijani.
In the municipality of Ruqayba, rainwater was absorbed from a public road near the Masoudi district, the weekly market, and the 1st of November neighborhood.
The source indicated that a truck and a car carrying 4 people were removed from the development neighborhood in Naama due to the high water levels.
In Ouargla, rainwater was absorbed by the road in the Lascelles neighborhood, while in Laghouat, rainwater was absorbed near a residential complex in the July 5th neighborhood.
Cracks were recorded in the walls of a house in the Mujahideen neighborhood Ghardaia.
