The background of demonstrations
Local media reported that several Moroccan cities witnessed, on Tuesday night, clashes between the security forces and protesters who responded to the call of the “Gil Z 212” group, which demands urgent reforms in the health and education sectors.
The demonstrations that erupted four days ago represent an unprecedented youth movement, led by this group that recently appeared on the “Discord” platform, declaring its rejection of violence and its adherence to “the love of the homeland and the king.”
