The National Bureau of Meteorology reported, in a special bulletin, that significant thunderstorm rains had fallen, with amounts locally exceeding 50 mm, in several states of the country.
According to the same bulletin, the states concerned include Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent and Oran, in addition to the states of Tiaret, Saida and Sidi Bel Abbes.
The Bureau explained that the rain will begin at dawn on Tuesday at three in the morning, and will continue until six in the morning on Wednesday.
