Under the supervision of UNICEF…training programs to improve the performance of national security – New Algeria

The General Directorate of National Security, in cooperation with the Office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), organized a training course on international standards for human rights and children’s rights, directed to the benefit of national security personnel, especially those active in the field of training and specialized training, at the “Ali Tounsi” Police High School, according to an Algerian police statement reported today, Sunday.
This training activity, which is led by an international expert, aims to contribute to strengthening the capabilities of police forces and upgrading methods of effective care and accompaniment in a way that serves the goals of sustainable development.
By the way, a second training workshop was launched, aiming to develop the technical and artistic capabilities of the agency’s employees in the field of institutional communication and the production of audio-visual content with a citizenship dimension.
On the sidelines of this activity, which continues until January 22, the head of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) office in Algeria, Katarina Johansson, visited the Central Police Museum, during which she learned about the most important historical milestones witnessed by the Algerian police force.
This training course comes within the framework of implementing the terms of the agreement concluded between the General Directorate of National Security and the office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
