The National Union of Taxi Transporters has written to its state offices, its union branches, and all sector professionals, asking them to resume professional activity immediately, and to ensure the continuity of public service.
In a statement, the union called on everyone to give priority to the higher national interest, to exercise a spirit of responsibility, and to deny the opportunity to anyone who lurks in the security and stability of the nation, or who seeks to exploit legitimate professional demands for purposes that do not serve workers or the country.
The union confirmed that it has not and will not abandon defending the legitimate rights of professionals, and that the door to dialogue with the guardian authorities remains open, and will continue within a responsible institutional framework, far from all forms of uncalculated escalation or being led into calls from unknown sources.
She stressed the need to unify the union ranks and not divide, and to commit to responsible and organized union work and to be vigilant and aware
