The same source added that the states of Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Algiers, Bouira, Blida and Medea will witness heavy thunderstorms ranging between 20 and 40 mm until nine in the morning.
In a related context, the Bureau revealed heavy snowfall, with a thickness ranging between 05 and 15 centimetres, on highlands above 1,000 metres, and the states concerned are Khenchela and Batna.
In another warning, the Bureau warned of strong winds and sandstorms in Tipaza, Chlef, Mostaganem, Oran, Ain Temouchent, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Tiaret, Laghouat, Djelfa, M’Sila, Biskra, and Ouled Jalal, while the states of El Bayadh, Naama, and Bashar will witness a severe cold wave.
