Chairman of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament: We do not want to expand the war to the Gulf – Algerian dialogue

A senior Iranian official denied his country’s desire to expand the war with Israel to the Gulf region, but he vowed to deprive Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from safety wherever he was.
The head of the National Security Committee in the Iranian parliament, Ibrahim Aziri, said that Tarhan “will take away Netanyahu a feeling of safety around the world,” stressing that his country “does not want to expand the war to the Gulf.”
This comes, after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji warned a previous time from an Israeli conspiracy to expand the circle of war, considering that targeting Iran’s oil facilities in the Gulf waters comes within these endeavors.
“We warn against the conspiracy of the Zionist entity to expand the circle of war and insert regional and international players,” Araqji said.
Araqji added that “targeting the Zionist entity our oil facilities in the Gulf waters comes within its efforts to expand the war, escalate tensions and fabricate new crises, but our people will defend themselves with full force towards the Zionist brutal aggression.”

Araqji stressed that this step represents a serious threat to security and stability in the Middle East, and pointed out that the repeated targeting of biological infrastructure, especially the oil installations in the Gulf waters, aims to destabilize economic and environmental stability in the region, and create a state of chaos that allows the Zionist entity to expand its military and political influence.
Nevertheless, the Iranian Foreign Minister called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to prevent the escalation of conflicts and work to find diplomatic solutions for conflicts in the region. He stressed that Iran is ready for constructive dialogue with all regional and international parties in order to achieve security and joint stability, away from any attempts to expand the circle of war.
