The World Volleyball Championship for less than 21 females: The Algerian national team is defeated against Bologna 3-0 for the fourth round – Algerian dialogue

The Algerian volleyball team defeated females (for less than 21 years), in front of its Polish counterpart (3-0), today, Monday, for the fourth round of the third group of the 2025 World Championship for the category, which is taking place from 7 to 17 August in the Indonesian Sorabaya.

The meeting came as follows (25-20, 25-17 and 25-13).

On the same group, Italy beat Egypt (3-0), while the Czech Republic defeated Türkiye (3-2).

The Algerian hexagon was defeated during the first three rounds against Türkiye, Italy and the Czech Republic with the same result (3-0).

The players of the national coach, Yassin Gloli, will play their last match in the group stage, against Egypt tomorrow, Tuesday (07:00 Algeria time).

The global date in Indonesia is witnessing the participation of 24 teams distributed over four groups of six countries. The first group consists of Indonesia (the organized country), Argentina, Serbia, Peru, Canada and Vietnam.

The second group includes the teams of China, the United States, Mexico, the Dominic Republic, South Korea and Croatia. The fourth group consists of the teams of Brazil, Japan, Tunisia, Thailand, Chile and Bulgaria.

According to the competition system, the first four teams from each group will qualify to the final price, while the other teams will play the rating matches (17-24 places).

The Algerian national team for females (under 21 years old) has seized its seat at the World Cup in Indonesia thanks to the bronze medal that he won in the African Nations Championship, which was held in August 2024 in Tunisia.
