The World Bank Group expresses its support to enhance the business climate in Algeria – New Algeria

Today, Wednesday, Director General of the Agency, Omar Rakash, received Jamila Haji Beyoglu Girin, Resident Representative of the World Bank Group in Algeria, within the framework of enhancing cooperation and partnership to support the Agency’s tasks in promoting investment and improving the business climate, according to a statement by the Agency.

Based on the same statement, this meeting was devoted to reviewing the prospects for cooperation with the World Bank Group in the areas of technical support, capacity building, exchange of experiences, and developing modern mechanisms to serve investors, in line with the country’s priorities in the field of economic diversification and promoting sustainable investment.

By the way, Omar Rakash stressed, on this occasion, the importance of the partnership with the World Bank Group, and the role it can play in supporting the agency, especially with regard to simplifying procedures, enhancing transparency, and improving investment attractiveness.

In turn, Jamila Hacibeyoglu Girin expressed the World Bank Group’s readiness to continue supporting the agency and enhancing cooperation with it, which contributes to improving the investment climate and supporting national efforts aimed at creating wealth and jobs.
