
The Minister of National Education, Mohamed Al -Sagheer Saadawi, stressed that the updating of educational curricula and the reservation of the size of the academic subjects is a strategic priority for the ministry, for its association with keeping pace with global changes, especially in the technological and digital field.
This came during a virtual symposium organized by the Supreme Council for Youth, in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, under the title “An Hour of Dialogue with the Minister of National Education”, within the annual program of the Chamber of the Council’s office 2025-2026.
The symposium witnessed a wide participation of young people, students and their parents through the technique of visual lecture, in the presence of the Minister of Youth, in charge of the Supreme Council of Youth, Mustafa Haidawi.
Saadawi stressed that this dialogue translates the sincere will of the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Taboun, in making the youth an essential axis in drawing public policies, especially in the national education sector, which is concerned with building human and preparing emerging generations.
In his response to a question about the concrete procedures to ensure equal education opportunities throughout the national territory, the minister explained that equal education opportunities is a constitutional principle, the state is working on it in the field through free education for all the people Students.
The first official on the national education sector also indicated the establishment of new educational institutions and their equipment according to modern criteria to ensure the quality of education in all regions, and to adopt special programs to support students with special educational needs.
The minister pointed out that the review of programs and curricula is carried out periodically and systematically according to a scientific and pedagogical approach, with the aim of reducing the filling and adapting the volume seeking to allow the student modern and focused acquaintances.
In his response to a question by one of the students of the final department in secondary education on reducing the volume of seeking and diluting the programs, the same official affirmed that the ministry is well aware of this, noting that the ministry is currently referring to setting the necessary arrangements to make students in each division in the secondary education stage enjoy the volume of the necessary for materials that are directly related to specialization, and exempt them from the materials that do not have this direct link, which will inevitably reflect on the volume It reduces programs.
The minister stressed that the integration of technology in the educational process is a continuous process that the ministry is working on embodying the programs and in the process of conducting the Ministry’s affairs, by expanding the use of electronic panels and open spaces such as the space of the parents, the professor and others.
He also pointed out that the ministry is Akefa to enhance the automatic media subject within the study programs to acquire initial skills in dealing with devices and software, and encouraging institutions to establish supplementary clubs to develop these capabilities, and preparing a project to include new training paths to enhance students’ technological skills according to a scientific methodology.
The minister stressed that digitization is a basic reform in the national education sector, and the digitization of the students ’follow -up and registration included the digitization of employee and administration affairs, the development of digital services through the launch of the new ministry’s website and the provision of platforms such as“ Asmadi ”, in addition to improving performance and following up on institutions remotely.
In response to a question about the role of the Algerian school in the balance between the consolidation of the national identity and the development of digital and life skills, the minister explained that the national identity is an essential pillar in the educational system, which is reflected in the daily salute of the national science and the academic contents saturated with the spirit of national and educational behaviors within the school.
The minister concluded his speech by emphasizing that the Algerian school is required to preserve its national originality and at the same time, to be modern modern and keep pace with technological developments, stressing that young people, whether they are teachers or professors, are the basis of the educational process, and that the development of education is a joint responsibility that requires accurate and dedicating planning.
