The American Fox News network said, on Saturday, that the United States is preparing to deploy a third aircraft carrier in the region as part of attacks on Iran.

The network explained that the American aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush has completed its preparations to sail towards the eastern Mediterranean, noting that it has completed its preparations off the coast of Hatteras Island and is expected to head soon to the region.

The carrier includes dozens of combat aircraft, in addition to destroyers equipped with guided missiles. The US aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford is currently deployed in the Red Sea, and the USS Abraham Lincoln is currently deployed in the Sea of ​​Oman.

Since last February 28, Israel and the United States have been waging a war against Iran, which has resulted in the killing of hundreds of Iranians, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior security officials, while Tehran responds to Tel Aviv by launching attacks with missiles and drones.

Iran also targets, with missiles and drones, what it describes as “American interests” in the Gulf states, Iraq, and Jordan. However, some of these attacks caused deaths and injuries and caused damage to civilian objects, which the targeted Arab countries condemned, demanding an end to these attacks.
