The Algerian Football Federation (FAF), along with all members of the national team family, wished a speedy recovery to Algerian international Juan Hajjam, following the injury he suffered during his participation with the “Greens”.
Today, Monday, national voter Vladimir Petkovic announced the end of defender Juan Hajjam’s career in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, after it was confirmed that he was unable to continue the competition due to injury.
The Swiss Young Boys Club defender suffered an ankle injury, forcing him to leave the field during the match against Burkina Faso, for the second round of the group stage of the continental championship.
In a statement published on its official account, the Algerian Football Federation expressed its solidarity with the player, stressing that FAF President Walid Sadi, and all the national team crews led by voter Vladimir Petkovic, wish Juan Hajjam a speedy recovery and a quick return to the stadiums.
