The United Nations condemns Zionist discrimination in the West Bank – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has warned of the escalation of discriminatory Zionist policies against Palestinians in the West Bank, considering them similar to an apartheid regime.

The report pointed to restrictions imposed on the daily lives of Palestinians, including access to water, education, hospitals, and transportation, along with land confiscation, deprivation of resources, and prosecution through military courts, in exchange for different treatment of Israeli settlers.

The Commission called for the abolition of discriminatory laws and practices, an end to the illegal presence of settlements, and respect for the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, warning of the increasing violence against Palestinians by security forces and settlers.
