Yesterday, Tuesday, MP Mohamed Anouar Bouchouit reviewed in New York the Algerian experience in the field of political empowerment of youth, explaining what was included in the provisions of the 2023 constitution in this regard.
The same deputy, during his intervention in the work of the African geopolitical group, touched on the role assigned to the Higher Council for Youth, which embodies the vision of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in providing a platform capable of making the voice of this group heard within the political and social system internally.
On the other hand, Mr. Bouchwit drew attention in his intervention to the youth who suffer under occupation, as is the case with the Palestinians, and was surprised at their ability to exercise their political rights under the control of forces that suppress their freedoms and even infringe on the rights of an entire people, and called on the United Nations to assume its responsibilities in protecting their legitimate rights.
By the way, Bushwit mentioned with regret what happened during the holy month of Ramadan when the occupation forces stormed the Al-Qibli Mosque and prevented Palestinian Muslims from performing their religious rituals in Sakina.
The deputy concluded his intervention by reiterating Algeria’s commitment to achieving the goals set within the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
It is worth noting that MP Bushwit has moved to New York to participate in the United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum.
