The truth about the dangerous Zionist medicine circulating in Algeria – New Algeria

In recent hours, an urgent instruction attributed to the state’s Health and Population Directorate was circulated Bordj Bou Arreridj, Addressed to directors of health institutions and pharmacists, it warns against the circulation of a dangerous Zionist drug called “Escodin” that poses a health risk.

The National Union of Public Health Practitioners published the text of the correspondence, which stated, “We are pleased to inform you of the circulation of a counterfeit medicine bearing the mark ESCODYNE of Zionist origin, which poses a threat to public health and may lead to death within five days.”

The correspondence, which was addressed to the President of the Regional Council of the Setif Pharmacists Authority, the President of the Regional Council of Medical Ethics in Setif, the President of the Office of the National Syndicate of Private Pharmacists, and the directors of all health institutions, included that the drug is commonly used as a headache reliever, without taking its side effects into consideration, adding that its introduction into Algeria is via Jordan and Syria.

In turn, the head of the Algerian Organization for Consumer Protection published, Mustafa Zabdi the text of the correspondence, indicating that the organization conducted investigations into the matter and found that what was mentioned, ESCODYNE, is known to be a nutritional supplement and not a medicine, and that no medicine with this name was found as a pain reliever after coordination with many pharmacists, indicating that the research is still continuing.
