The National Bureau of Statistics revealed that the gross domestic product of Algeria witnessed a remarkable increase during the year 2024, amounting to 7.2 percent.
According to Diwan’s data, GDP increased from around 33 thousand and 679 billion Algerian dinars The year 2023, to nearly 36 thousand and 103 billion Algerian dinars In the year 2024.
This growth reflects the registered improvement in various economic indicators, and the expansion of some productive and service sectors that contributed to raising the total value of the national product.
These numbers put the Algerian economy in an ascending curve, amid the government’s efforts to enhance economic diversification and reduce subordination to fuel.
