The state of Algiers issues an important statement – New Algeria

The state of Algiers was declared, close Part of National Road No. 11 and National Road No. 5, linking Bab El Oued and National Liberation Army Street in both directions.

In a statement, the state of Algiers attributed this measure to the completion of the work on the technical facility for the balcony linking Che Guevara Avenue and Masmaka Park.

The statement explained that part of the road will be temporarily closed to traffic in order to place the beams of the technical facility, for a period of 30 days.

This will begin today, Thursday, and the closure will be for only six hours of the day, starting from eleven o’clock at night, until five o’clock in the morning.

The source indicated that vehicular traffic will be diverted as follows: for vehicles coming from Bab El Oued towards National Liberation Army Street, vehicle traffic will be diverted starting from the Fort 23 roundabout to First November Street, then Che Guevara Street, and from there to Asla Hussein Street, then to National Liberation Army Street.

For vehicles coming from National Liberation Army Street towards Bab El Oued, vehicle traffic will be diverted starting from the Tafoura area towards Zigot Youssef Street and from there to Che Guevara Street and then to Yahya Lokman Street or the First of November, heading towards Bab El Oued.
