The details of the case go back to Blailly’s playing time with Ajaccio during the 2022-2023 season, as the French club accused the player of “forging documents and fraud,” and benefiting from a financial sum of about 380,000 euros during his association with the team.
According to the same source, FIFA officially informed the player of the decision today, Thursday, giving him the right to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which is the option the player may resort to in order to try to reduce or cancel the penalty.
