The son of the terrorist Farhat Mohani disavows his father’s theses

Aghor Mhanni, the son of the head of the terrorist organization “MAK”, disavowed his father Farhat Mhanni’s project, stressing his adherence to the country’s national unity and his keenness to restore respect to the honor of his family, whose effective struggle during the war of national liberation was remembered.

Aghor Mohani said, in a statement to national television: “Today I am taking this step. It is a personal need, and a way for me to protect my honor from what is happening, and to protect the honor of my family, which in turn is far from all of this. It is also a way for me to contribute to preserving the national unity of my country.”

The son of the terrorist Farhat Mohani, who announced his disavowal of his father’s positions and his clear opposition to what the latter was doing, explained that even if the official in charge of the terrorist movement was his “father,” the son had his own ideas and convictions.

He continued, saying: “Throughout my life, I have suffered from his thoughts and decisions, which have always had an impact on my life and the lives of my brothers and sisters, and today I feel that I need to express my thoughts and not be linked to every decision my father makes.”

After expressing his “pride” in the national history of his family, men and women, during the National Liberation War, the speaker said that his mother told him “a lot about the history of his ancestors and the role they played during the Liberation War,” adding: “For me, they are heroes, because they played a very effective role during the glorious Liberation Revolution.”

He also noted that the Algerians “were always brothers,” and that he grew up in an environment in which he never felt any discrimination between the people of one nation.

Aghour Mhanni confirmed, saying: “When we went to the Kabylie region, I would meet friends from different regions of the country and they would visit me at my home, and I never felt any difference between us.”
