The services provided to people of determination will noticeably improve

The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Abdul Haq Sayhi, confirmed that improving services for people of determination and special needs is an essential focus of the strategic plan for the sector, and the performance will be improved and the quality of this public service will be raised.

The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Abdul Haq Sayhi, chaired an evaluation work session devoted to following up and evaluating the activities and achievements of the National Office for Members of the Disabled and its affiliates, in the context of the series of periodic meetings he holds with bodies affiliated with the sector.

The Minister listened to a comprehensive presentation by the Director General of the Bureau, which addressed various aspects of management, especially those related to the production and distribution of artificial organs, as well as the services provided to the benefit of people of determination.

Saihi issued a set of directives aimed at improving performance and raising the quality of public service, reiterating that taking care of this vulnerable group represents a top priority for the state, in line with the directives of the President of the Republic, who attaches great importance to consecrating the rights of people with special needs, and ensuring that they benefit from quality services.

The Minister stressed the need to redouble efforts to improve services and improve the conditions for caring for this category, in response to their specific needs, simplify administrative procedures and provide all facilities that ensure their easy access to services, intensify neighborhood activities and bring services closer to the citizen to spare him the difficulty of moving to various facilities.

Saihi also stressed the continuation of the program to prepare and adapt the Bureau’s structures, in line with the requirements for optimal care for people with special needs, and to adopt digitalization as an irreversible strategic option in all management and care paths, as it is a pivotal challenge and a strategic priority and the only way to improve performance and accelerate the processing of requests, abandoning traditional management patterns in the context of building an administration. The Minister highlighted the need to increase the quality of artificial devices and provide them in accordance with the required technical standards and develop the Bureau’s capabilities in this field to ensure an effective response to the increasing demands, while giving special importance to cooperation with emerging national institutions that have proven their competence in producing replacement organs and initiating measures that would work to increase the rate of integration and self-sufficiency in this field.
