The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health meets with representatives of the National Council for Health Sector Employees – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Mohamed Talhi, met yesterday evening, Tuesday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, with members of the National Council for Health Sector Employees, where the professional and social concerns of the sector’s employees were reviewed, according to what the Ministry of Health reported in its statement today, Wednesday.

The same source explained that “in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Health, Mohamed Siddiq Ait Messaoudane,” the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health received members of the National Council for Health Sector Employees, affiliated with the Independent National Union of Public Administration Employees, headed by Mohamed Beloufa, and in the presence of members of the central committee in charge of dialogue with social partners.

The meeting was devoted to presenting “a number of professional and social concerns related to health sector employees,” including the “common wire category.”

During the meeting, the Secretary-General confirmed:

• The Minister was keen to promote a serious and sustainable dialogue with unions as a strategic option aimed at enhancing professional stability and consolidating mutual trust.

• The study of demands will be within a participatory approach that relies on active listening and constructive consultation, while working to find appropriate solutions that serve the public interest.

• Great attention is paid to improving the professional and social conditions of health sector users, emphasizing that this is a priority for the Ministry because it has a direct impact on the stability of human resources and the quality of health service provided to citizens.

The meeting took place in a positive atmosphere characterized by a spirit of responsibility and understanding, with an emphasis on continuing constructive dialogue and strengthening consultation mechanisms in a way that contributes to supporting the path of the health sector and improving its performance.
