The Prosecutor, the Acting, receives the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization – Algerian Dialogue

The Acting Prime Minister, Saifi Gharib, received today, Wednesday, the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Darren Tang, who is on an official visit to Algeria.

According to a statement of the interests of the Prime Minister, the meeting was an occasion to review the reality and prospects of cooperation between Algeria and the World Intellectual Property Organization, while emphasizing the common will to enhance partnerships in areas Industry development, innovation upgrade, training, intellectual property valuation, and the preservation of cultural heritage.

It was also agreed to revitalize the role of this UN office in Algeria, which was officially launched on the occasion of this visit, allowing the intensification of joint initiatives and supporting research and innovation projects at the national and regional level.
