At the beginning of the meeting, the government studied the regulatory framework related to framing the Olympiad of educational subjects for national education, in a step aimed at discovering talented and innovative people in the school community, and enhancing the spirit of scientific competition among students. Students. This initiative falls within the strategy of the Ministry of National Education to raise the educational level of students and prepare the national team for the International School Olympiad.

In the context of preserving national memory, the government listened to a presentation on the preparations for commemorating the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious November 1 revolution, under the slogan: “A message to the generations.” A rich and diverse program of activities has been prepared to commemorate this eternal anniversary, aiming to highlight the national and humanitarian dimension of the Algerian Revolution and strengthen the connection of new generations with its glorious history.

The preparations for the seventh edition of the International Desert Tourism Festival were also discussed, to be organized in the city of Timimoun from December 4 to 6, 2025, under the slogan: “The Bride of the Algerian Desert: The Red Oasis, Timimoun.” This event aims to promote the desert tourist destination, value the local traditional industry, and introduce the ancient culture and traditions of the region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the government heard a detailed presentation on the waste management and pollutant control system at the national level. The presentation highlighted the efforts made within the framework of the national policy for sustainable development, especially those related to private waste, through treatment programs funded by national resources and international cooperation.

For this purpose, the government has developed a joint sectoral action plan to improve collection Wasteaddressing and evaluating them, in addition to strengthening cooperation with local groups and institutional partners, to ensure the improvement of environmental governance and the preservation of public health.
