The President of the Republic: Victory Day is a time for renewing loyalty to the martyrs – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Victory Day, in which he stressed that this date represents the end of a colonial era that lasted more than 130 years, marked by oppression and destruction, before the will of the Algerian people triumphed in freedom and independence.

The President stressed that the revolution of November 1, 1954 constituted a turning point in the country’s history, led by men who believed in liberation or martyrdom, and were able to achieve victory despite the great sacrifices that the Algerian people incurred.

In the context of his talk about the present, Tebboune highlighted that Algeria is continuing the path of construction and strengthening its sovereignty, especially in light of the current regional and international challenges, through an ambitious development project aimed at strengthening the national economy and consolidating independence.

The President of the Republic concluded his message by calling for adherence to the message of the martyrs and renewing the pledge to them, having mercy on their souls, and stressing that Algeria will remain “free, proud and proud.”
