The President of the Republic: The IDA summit is a favorable opportunity to discuss ways to confront the challenges – New Algeria

The President of the Republic confirmed Abdel Majeed TebbouneThe International Development Association (IDA) summit to mobilize resources for Africa is of great importance as it is an essential station for supporting the priorities and aspirations of the African group during the process of re-establishing the resources of the International Development Association.

The President of the Republic said, in a speech delivered by Acting Prime Minister, Nadhir Al-Arbawi, in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, during the IDA summit to mobilize resources for Africa, that the summit is a favorable opportunity to discuss ways to confront the challenges posed by the current international context.

Especially the record worsening of debt levels, high interest rates, and scarcity of financing, which forced many poor countries to reduce necessary expenditures, including those directed to vital sectors, which undermines the achievement of the sustainable development goals for the year 2030, President Tebboune adds.

The Prime Minister resolved, Nazir Al-Arabawy Representing the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to participate in the International Development Association “IDA21” summit to mobilize resources for Africa, which will be held tomorrow.

The Prime Minister was received on the floor of Nairobi International Airport by the Kenyan Minister in charge of Transport and Roads.
