The President of the Republic: The door to return is open to every Algerian who has sinned… except for those involved in treason – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, confirmed that every Algerian residing abroad who committed a sin against his country is interested in returning to Algeria, on the condition that he stops making the mistake and does not continue it.

The President of the Republic explained, during the regular media meeting, that anyone proven to be involved in dealing with foreign intelligence, if he returns to the homeland, will inevitably be brought to justice.

In the same context, President Tebboune indicated that some Algerians residing abroad, who sometimes published videos or positions without any connection to intelligence networks, a number of them actually returned to Algeria without any problems.

However, the President of the Republic excluded a specific category, related to people who have direct relations with foreign intelligence networks, or who worked as correspondents for the state of the Zionist entity or for countries in conflict with Algeria, and who leaked information in exchange for money.

The President of the Republic considered this group traitors, stressing that:
“Betrayal is not erased by God’s forgiveness of the past, but rather it is erased by getting rid of it.”He added that they will be subjected to trial and must prove their innocence before justice.

President Tebboune also touched on a group of young people who left the country illegally for social or economic reasons, and committed simple mistakes, before falling into the trap of parties who exploited them in dangerous actions that harm the security of the homeland, warning that slipping down this path could lead to them losing their homeland.
