The President of the Republic sends a message on the occasion of National Martyr’s Day – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

O fellow citizens, O fellow citizens,

In honor of the righteous martyrs… and in honor of their sacrifices, we commemorate on National Martyr’s Day the memory of women and men who comforted Algeria with the faith with which God comforted them. And courage to defeat colonialism and attachment to honor and freedom.. And they entrusted the Algerian people with the values of the blessed Liberation Revolution, and the loftiness of its goals..

On this occasion, we stand with gratitude and pride to express the duty of loyalty and steadfastness in our approach, and we continue – at this stage – to confront… The challenges to complete the journey that we began – together – since the beginning of the decade, and we are very proud – that its basis was loyalty to the martyrs, and its motive is the spirit Sincere patriotism, and its goal is the advancement of Algeria… a march that took situations in which the country was on the brink of danger to a climate of trust and hope in a new Algeria, embrace it. The people are engaged in a sustainable development movement, the manifestations of which are distributed over the vast regions of the country.

Praise be to God, and despite the difficulties of the journey, we have made great strides that have made our dear country an arena for workshops, full of work and construction landmarks. And reconstruction in all states… and turned it into a pole of stability that attracts local and foreign investments, as evidenced by the most credible figures… and with recognition. Interested institutions.

We are convinced that what has been achieved is nothing more than a token of loyalty to the martyrs, to whose memory we stand – on this occasion – in honor of their memory, and as a witness to the feeling. The lasting confidence of the people, whose hopes and aspirations remain guiding the march towards the promise of the emerging state.

As we celebrate National Martyr’s Day on the eighteenth (18) of February, we recall the glory of the martyrs whose pure souls always hover in the sky. Algeria, it moves our footsteps forward and inspires us all with pride and loftiness.. And as I have compassion with you for all the honorable, free women and men who have resisted through the decades.. And the heroic revolutionaries, martyrs of the liberation revolution. I salute the female and male mujahideen, may God prolong their lives, who are still planting seeds on this pure land. Loyalty and blessing… and they raise calls to protect Algeria and its people.
