The President of the Republic receives the President of Niger on a fraternal and working visit to Algeria – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Sunday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received the President of the Republic of Niger, Abderrahmane Tiani, at Algiers International Airport.

This visit comes at the invitation of the President of the Republic, as the Head of State of Niger will pay a brotherly and working visit to Algeria at the head of an important delegation on February 15 and 16.

The visit aims to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, cooperation and good neighborliness between the two brotherly countries, within the framework of a new dynamic aimed at optimally exploiting their capabilities and potentials, in a way that serves the interests of the Algerian and Nigerian peoples.

This visit also represents an opportunity to discuss a number of political issues of common interest, especially those related to African affairs in general and the Sahel-Saharan region in particular, in light of the current regional challenges.
