The President of the Republic receives congratulations from the Chinese President on the successful launch of the Alsat-3 satellite – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a congratulatory message from the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the occasion of the successful launch of the “Alsat-3” satellite, considering the project a symbol of the fruitful cooperation between Algeria and China in the field of space.
The text of the message was as follows:
“His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune, respected President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria,
Mr. President, I would like to extend to you my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the government and people of Algeria, on behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, on the occasion of the successful launch of the “Alsat-3” space satellite.
The “Alsat-3” space satellite project symbolizes a new successful cooperation between the Chinese and Algerian sides in the field of space, after the “Alsat-1” satellite project, and comes as an important embodiment of the comprehensive strategic relations between the two countries.
The Chinese side is ready to work with the Algerian side to deepen cooperation in the field of space, and to make joint efforts to raise the level of science and technology, thus advancing the economic and social development of the two countries.
Algeria is an important strategic partner for China in the West Asia and North Africa region, and has a deep historical friendship with China.
