The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Wednesday, congratulated the Algerian people on the occasion of the New Year 2026, stressing that the new year will be a source of pride and elevation for all Algerians for what men have achieved and their sacrifices in various fields, so that Algeria can safely reach the ranks of emerging countries.
The speech addressed by the President of the Republic to the Algerian people on this occasion stated: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Imam and our beloved, our master Muhammad, the Messenger of God, a thousand prayers and a thousand peace be upon him. Dear citizens, I address you as we welcome the new year 2026, with my warm congratulations on good health and well-being for all, and contentment and blessings for our beloved homeland.”
President Tebboune added, in his speech to the Algerian people, that the new year “will, God willing, be a matter of pride and elevation for all Algerian men and women, with what men’s hands have achieved and their sacrifices in various fields, so that Algeria will reach the ranks of emerging countries with complete safety.”
The President of the Republic continued, saying: “I renew to every Algerian woman and every Algerian, inside and outside the country, my heartfelt congratulations on the New Year, without forgetting our people in occupied Palestine, wishing the end of the Zionist crimes against them and a return to a normal life in the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem.”
The President of the Republic concluded by saying: “Algeria may remain free, proud, and proud. Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you.”
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Azouz Nasseri, had previously confirmed that President Tebboune’s speech confirms that victorious Algeria is proceeding on the right path towards its glories, based on sincere political will and solid national unity.
