A statement by the Presidency of the Republic said: “The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, offered his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of our three martyrs, who fell on the field of honor. They bravely defended Algeria and its security against the remnants of the terrorist forces of evil and obscurantism, in the Fifth Military Region.”
The statement added: “As we offer our condolences to all members of the People’s National Army, we bow with reverence before the pure souls of the martyrs, praying to God Almighty to accept them into the Garden of Bliss and to bestow His mercy on them in these last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. We belong to God and to Him we shall return. Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs.”
