The President of the Republic announces the establishment of cooperatives for renting agricultural equipment – New Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announced today, Monday, the establishment of cooperatives specialized in renting agricultural equipment of all kinds for the benefit of farmers, with the aim of expanding the areas of cultivated land and raising the productivity of national agricultural production, in embodiment of the decisions and recommendations of the recent Council of Ministers, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.

According to the statement, President Tebboune decided, while chairing a working meeting devoted to agricultural mechanization, to create a national council for agricultural mechanization.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, the Minister of Industry, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, in addition to officials of Algerian companies and institutions active in the field of manufacturing and production of agricultural equipment.
