The President of the Constitutional Court receives the President of the Supreme and Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The President of the Constitutional Court, Leila Asalaoui, received today, Wednesday in Algiers, Justice Luke Malaba, President of the Supreme and Constitutional Court of the Republic of Zimbabwe and rotating President of the Conference of African Constitutional Judicial Bodies for the period 2024-2026, according to an official statement of the Court.

The meeting came within the framework of bilateral meetings held by the President of the Constitutional Court with the heads of delegations participating in the nineteenth session of the Executive Office of the Conference of African Constitutional Judicial Bodies.

The statement stressed that the meeting constituted an opportunity to exchange institutional visions and pioneering constitutional experiences.

And exploring new horizons to deepen judicial and constitutional cooperation between the two institutions,

Within the framework of a joint vision aimed at strengthening the constitutional justice system and consolidating the rule of law at the level of the African continent.
