The Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee organized an awareness and sensitization forum on combating doping, under the slogan “Combating doping is a shared responsibility.”
The forum was held under the supervision of the head of the medical committee, Dr. Ferial Shweiter, with wide participation from officials of sports bodies, doctors, athletes, coaches and media professionals, in confirmation that confronting the doping phenomenon is a collective responsibility that includes all components of the sports family.
During the forum, Dr. Choueiter called for intensifying awareness campaigns and preventive programs to ensure a clean sports environment that reflects the reputation of Algerian sports and keeps pace with the aspirations of its champions towards excellence and integrity.
