In a statement on Wednesday, Taj expressed that he is following with great interest the discussions, questions and information being circulated regarding some of the provisions and repercussions of the new traffic law, expressing his complete conviction that the new traffic law aims, in essence, to protect lives and property and establish a culture of traffic safety.
In this context, the party stressed that the law is still under discussion and evaluation, and that it falls within a reform path that can be enriched and adapted, ensuring the achievement of its basic objectives without harming the social and professional dimension of the groups concerned, appreciating at the same time the right of citizens and professionals to peacefully and orderly express their social and professional concerns, within the framework of respect for the constitution and applicable laws, while preserving the normal functioning of vital facilities and not compromising the rights of other citizens.
The Algeria Rally of Hope party appreciated the efforts made by the Ministry of Interior, local groups and transport, in order to listen to the various concerns raised, and open channels of dialogue with social and professional partners, with the aim of reaching balanced solutions that take into account the requirements of public safety and the requirements of the field reality.
