On Tuesday, the conference hall of the Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex hosted the draw of the draw for the third edition of the football journalism course inside the hall, scheduled to start on the fourth day of the holy month of Ramadan.
The occasion was attended by sports figures who had previously honored the national flag in the roundabout fields, such as the leader of the Greens in the 1980s, Ali Fergani, and others who hold positions in the highest sports bodies, such as Khairuddin Berbari, Secretary-General of the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee.
The Algerian Sports Journalists Organization is working to hold a friendly competition, with the participation of public and private media institutions, with all their specializations, such as print and audiovisual journalism.
The organizing committee for the session decided to choose a solidarity slogan directed primarily to the Palestinian people, who have been under the aggression of the Zionist entity since last October.
It was also dedicated to remembering and immortalizing the memory of fellow journalists who recently passed away, as stated by Youssef Tazir, President of the National Organization of Algerian Sports Journalists.
The event will be accompanied as main funder by the National Union of General Contractors, which is headed by the former chief official of the Algerian Football Federation, Charafeddine Amara.
Al-Akhbariya records its presence for the first time
24 media institutions, including the Al-Ekhbariya complex, will compete on the floor of the Oval Hall of the Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex in the capital, next Ramadan, for the title of the 2024 Journalism Course.
The participating teams were divided into six groups, each of which included four teams.
It is led by the first group, which is headed by the previous edition’s defending champions, Canal Algieri. The latter will face Al-Wataniya TV, the electronic newspaper Dzire Match, and Al-Shaab newspaper.
While the Al-Ikhbariya Complex team will meet its counterparts from Al-Hayat Channel, which won the first edition title, the Algerian Public Television Corporation 2, and Al-Fajr newspaper in the second group.
