According to the same authorities, The demonstration Which bears the name “AgrI Challenge”, aims to “enhance teamwork between students from the specializations of artificial intelligence and agriculture, through a joint challenge to classify plants based on their images using artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques.”
According to the same source, the competition activities will be held in the two schools, where the official opening will be held at the National Higher School of Agriculture, followed by “a lecture on botany and how to identify and classify it, then a preparatory workshop for the participating teams,” and then the stage of collecting data and photos of plants by Students Participants over two days.
At the level of the National Higher School for Artificial Intelligence, participants will move there on June 26, “to develop a program that uses artificial intelligence techniques to solve the challenge of plant classification,” according to the same statement, while on June 27, the demonstration will conclude with a closing ceremony to distribute prizes to the winning teams.
In conclusion, the statement included that this competition is “a unique opportunity for students to acquire new skills in the fields of image analysis and computer vision, and cooperation between different disciplines, which enhances their capabilities for innovation and teamwork.”
