The Ministry of Commerce calls for intensifying control over banana, apples and red meat – Algerian dialogue

In implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Internal Trade and the control of the National Market, the Secretary -General of the Ministry, Al -Hadi Bakir, today, headed a meeting with the frameworks of the Regional Directorate of Trade in the Algeria district.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of Trade for the State of Algeria, and heads of regional trade inspectors in the state, devoted to following up the national market status.

The Secretary -General of the Ministry stressed the need to intensify the supervisory and field work across the various markets and points of sale. Focusing on the materials that are still known as unjustified increases in their prices, such as banana fruits and apples, as well as red meat.

In the same context, the Secretary -General called for the promotion of health monitoring of foodstuffs, the tightening of sampling procedures periodically and laboratory analyzes, especially for rapidly damaged products. This is with the aim of preventing food poisoning cases and ensuring that the products offered for consumption are matched.

The Secretary -General also reminded of the need to prepare well for exhibitions of school supplies at the level of the state of Algeria. To ensure its provision at competitive prices, coinciding with the approaching school entry.
