The Minister of Justice lays the foundation stone for the headquarters of the Judicial Council in Ouled Jalal – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Monday, Lotfi Boudjemaa, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, supervised the laying of the foundation stone for the project to complete the headquarters of the Judicial Council of the state of Ouled Jalal, in the presence of Abderrahmane Dahimi, Governor of Ouled Jalal, Eid Boukhbaza, President of the Biskra Judicial Council, and Djameleddine Zidani, Attorney General of the same council.

Officials explained that the new headquarters will include a wing for the presidency of the Council, another for the Attorney General’s services, in addition to a hall for deliberations, a wing for lawyers and another for the clerk’s offices, six session halls, an archive hall, a unified window, and three functional residences.

The financial budget allocated to the project amounts to 2.8 billion dinars, with completion deadlines set at 34 months. The Minister stressed that the headquarters will contribute to bringing judicial services closer to the citizens of Ouled Jalal, and relieve them of the hassle of traveling to the neighboring state of Biskra. It also represents part of the completion of the local administration structures in this young state.
