The Minister of Irrigation directs to ensure water stability during Ramadan – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Minister of Irrigation stressed, Taha DarbalToday, Tuesday, to ensure the stability of the public water service during the month of Ramadan, during a working session via video lecture technology that brought together irrigation directors from twenty-one states.

According to the Ministry’s statement, the follow-up included the states of: Chlef, Oum El Bouaghi, Djelfa, Bejaia, Bechar, Tebessa, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tamanrasset, Blida, Bouira, Setif, Skikda, Medea, M’Sila, Bou Saada, Mascara, Tindouf, Tissemsilt, Souk Ahras, and Ain Oleander, with a focus on providing citizens with potable water and assessing the readiness of facilities to ensure continuity of supply.

The Minister stressed the need for optimal control over management and harnessing all material and human resources, while strengthening field follow-up mechanisms and coordination between various stakeholders, to ensure stable and effective service, especially in light of the expected increase in demand for water during the holy month.
